Vape and Quit - A Non Profit Entity
This website is focused on giving some help and guidance to those people that want to quit smoking, using the vaping system, which has been around for many years, invented in 2003 by Hon Lik, a chinese pharmacist and heavy smoker whose father died from smoking induced lung cancer.
What is vaping?
To inhale and exhale a vapour mist produced by an electronic device, or ecigarette.
What is a vaporiser, also known as a clearomiser?
An electronic device powered by rechargable batteries, with a refillable tank that holds the fluid, also known as ejuice, eliquid or similar, that produces flavoured vapour [with or without nicotine] which gives the effect of smoking without the unhealthy tars, carcinogens and chemicals found in regular cigarettes and tobacco products.
What is the ejuice made from?
The liquid used in the vaporiser is made from the following products:
Vegetable Glycerin:
Vegetable glycerin, or glycerol, is a clear, odourless liquid produced from plant oils, typically palm oil, soy, or coconut oil.
Propolyne Glycol:
Propylene glycol is used by the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified propylene glycol as an additive that is "generally recognized as safe"
Nicotine: [Optional] But illegal in most states in Australia, not supplied nor recommended.
Available in different strengths [not via this website] depending on current tobacco usage.
For example:
1 - 20 cigarettes per day equals about 3mg strength.
20 - 30 cigarettes per day equals about 6 mg strength.
40+ cigarettes per day equals about 8 mg strength.
Flavours:
Standard food grade flavourings supplied by the vaping industry.
I recommend that you watch the video which is under Documenataries heading above on this website:
There is also a great documentary movie available called “A Billion Lives” That’s how many people are estimated to die from the effects of cigarettes in the next 10 years.
I encourage you to do your own research.
